Week 93 of 186 (BMAL 755)

February 21, 2022 by robertforto 1 Comment

Week 93 of approximately 186 are in the books in my doctorate program.

It is hard to believe that I am almost at the finish line for yet another course! We are finishing up week six and just two more to go.

This week it was fun putting together a PowerPoint for a mock-coaching client for the course. It was interesting to find the pictures that coordinated with the slides.

Next week is our big 2500 word research paper. I haven’t even started. Remember that outline that I did last week, that I said I was not going to use?

Check out this comic I found. I bet a lot of my rabid readers would agree with it!

Week 92 of 186 (BMAL 755)

Week 92 of approximately 186 are in the books in my doctorate program.

This week my wife and I traveled to an outdoor conference in North Carolina where I spoke about my Serum Run trip and the Leadership Lessons at 50 Below. It was well attended and is was good to stand up in front of an audience to talk.

This week we had to complete an outline for our final research project. Can I say, I hate outlines. I have been in school for 17 years and this is only the second time that I have had to do one of these. To me, it seems like an exercise in busy work. I will not be using this outline for the final paper, but I will be using the sources.

Luckily, it was a five-hour flight from Atlanta to Seattle and I was fortunate enough to get upgraded to First Class so I had plenty of time to bang it out just in time for the Super Bowl and the deadline.
