ATTENTION FAMILY BUSINESS OWNERS
I am conducting research as part of the requirements for a doctorate at Liberty University. My research aims to explore the challenges faced in the family business in transitioning ownership and leadership from one generation to the next.
This succession poses significant challenges, risks, and setbacks.
To participate, you must run a family-owned firm, preferably in Alaska’s tourism or hospitality industry, and even better if there is an emerging female leader interested in taking over the company.
I must interview at least 15 people in a leadership or supervisory role at the company.
Participants will be asked to participate in an interview or a focus group, which will require approximately two hours of your/their time. After the study, I will provide your organization with a final manuscript and be available to present the research project and results.
