Weeks 185 to 190 (BMAL 888)

Doctorate of Strategic Leadership program Robert Forto

Weeks 184 to 190

Well… it is that time of the year again. It is the start of a new year and a new semester in the DSL program. I am excited to start (the second round of) BMAL 888 and I have Task 8 ready to submit this first week.

Over the Christmas break, my wife and I announced that we bought Mushing Magazine; we bought Team and Trail magazine and spent hours and hours getting the launch ready to go.

We also prepared the dog teams for the upcoming two college classes I teach at the local universities and spent much time with family.

In short, things are going pretty well. Heck, I even started a Bucket List. At almost 53 years old, it is as good of a time as any.

Also, probably most important to my rabid readers here of the blog, I spent some good, quality time with my coach/friend/mentor, Richard, on our weekly calls, really diving deep into this next section of the project. We discussed in-depth sampling, interview questions, methodology, and choosing a firm.

Update

It has been a busy break! Since my last post, I finally got my act in gear and started working on Task 8, it is ready to submit during the first week, and I am excited to see where this term takes me.

I fully intend to buckle down and finish this thing and finally earn that doctorate!
