Week 106 of approximately 186 is in the books in my doctorate program.
We are headed into Week Three of BMAL 780 Strategic Leadership for the 21st Century. Not a bad course overall even though it feels like I am re-writing every paper on leadership I have ever written. I can not believe all of these courses are coming to an end very soon and I will be knee-deep in my project for the next year or more.
Last week had a discussion post, replies, and another research paper. This one included ideas on how to train leaders for the future, of course with the name of the course being as such.
This week we have an annotated bibliography and another round of discussions. We are traveling to Homer for the long weekend for my wife’s birthday, so like always I will be working during my downtime.
A quick note about our new business venture, Peak Experience. It was brought to our attention at the last company meeting that one of our managing partners will not be able to continue in the business because he got a promotion at UAA and supposedly it is unethical to be in business for himself. I don’t know where that leaves our podcast or other ideas but I am sure we will make it work.
