Well, rabid readers, if you have been here for an amount of time you know by now the “deal.”
I typically post every week about my trials, tribulations, successes and struggles in my time as as a student.
This is week 1 of my first course back after earning my doctorate in late November 2024.
I will say it is odd to revert back a bit to master’s level course work, mainly reading text books, taking quizes (ugggg!) and having to intract with my fellow students.
But, it is fun and I enjoy it.
This first course is all about nonprofit mangemnet and we are learing the bare-bones basics like what is the difference between the economic model and the voluntary spirit model. and we analyzed the acquisition and use of resources, such as charitable donations and volunteers, as discussed in both the Worth text and the article.
Fun fact, did you know that that the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) was the first university received the first NASPAA-accredited master’s degree program in nonprofit management?
