Inspired by Shaker and Spoon
For many, Halloween is a holiday wrapped in nostalgia, elaborate costumes, and scary movies. This drink pays homage to all of those. As the cocktail designer Chris Elford says, “It only takes one super ingredient to bring mezcal to life in powerfully sweet and sour ways!”
Ingredients
2 oz. mezcal joven
1 oz Acidified Super Purple
One slice of pink grapefruit jelly fruit
Method
Shaken
Glass
Double rocks
Instructions
Add the mezcal and Acidified Super Purple yo a shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
Strain into a double rocks glass over a large ice cube. Keeping up with the Halloween vibe, add a piece of pink grapefruit jelly fruit on the rim of the glass.
