Being a child of the 1980s I grew up on the films of Haim and Feldman. Yep, that’s right the two Corey’s. The Lost Boys (1987) is one of my all time favorites.

Set in the fictional California town of Santa Clara and known as the “murder capital of the world” because of it’s vampire infestation, The Lost Boys quite simple just rocks. Especially the saxophone wielding, industrial chain wearing shirtless 80s rocker belting out the anthem I Still Believe early in the film.

The Lost Boys has a great story and even better cast. Including Keifer Sutherland, Jamie Gertz, the Corey’s, and Jason Patric. While it full of the typical vampire cliche’s it is still a movie that has stood the test of time and will be on our 31 Night’s list for years to come.

What is your favorite scary movie?
