Serrano pepper

Super Smokin Rockin Salsa

July 19, 2011 by robertforto Leave a Comment

My father in-law Ed Perry makes some of the best salsa on the planet. You have got to try this out:

3 medium tomatoes, diced
1 medium white onion, diced
1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
1 large jalapeño, diced w/seeds hot without mild
1 Serrano pepper, diced (these are hot)
1 stalk celery, deveined
Juice from one whole lemon
Juice from one whole lime
Olive oil to taste 1 to 2 tablespoons
Vinegar to bring liquid to approximately 1/2 of solid volume
Salt and pepper to taste

Blend in blender if you want it smoother, less chunks.

Place in airtight container, keeps well for 2 weeks in refrigerator

Cannot freeze
