The Ward (2010) was a film that I thought would be a good addition to the 2012 rotation of our 31 Night’s of Horror. It was made by the master of horror himself, John Carpenter. But The Ward fell short. It just wasn’t scary. The story was good enough. A group of misfit co-eds are sent to the looney bin and ghost kills them off one by one. Typical huh? Not really. The body count in this movie: technically zero.
