Iditarod 2011: Iditarod coverage on Mush! You Huskies

I want to give a public thanks to my co-host, Michele Forto and our Iditarod expert, Jason Barron for all their help during our 11 day coverage of the race on Mush! You Huskies. I think we did a great job giving expert analysis and some great info on the Last Great Race.

I also want to thank all of our listeners. We had a spectacular response to our show with our fans downloading and streaming the 11 episodes more than 12,000 times. Each evening we would gain new followers and new fans.

Michele and I will continue to host episodes of Mush! You Huskies throughout the off-season. During this time we concentrate on dog sledding history and the people that made this sport what it is today. We strive to give you the best mushing radio show on the Internet.

We also host a weekly radio program, Dog Works Radio where we talk about training, canine sports and working dogs. We often have award winning authors, and experts in the field of canines.

Each quarter we host the Petlitzer Prize contest with our friend Sid Korpi.

Our Iditarod expert is going to continue to work on his two new books and raising his family, while taking a hiatus from mushing. He assured all of our listeners that he will be back on the runners “soon”.

We encourage all of our listeners, friends and fans to follow us on our social media networks and ask us questions about dog training. Who knows we might use it for an upcoming episode.

If you know of anyone that would like to be on our show as a guest please send us an email at live@dogworksradio.com

Thank you to you all!
